As the IT Manager for a school district spanning one VPK, three elementary , one middle school, and one high school campus, as well as an administrative building, I have cultivated a comprehensive understanding of the demands and complexities faced by an IT leader. This multi-campus system serves over 1,750 students and more than 300 staff members. In addition to overseeing all aspects of the IT department, I regularly handle the physical installation and configuration of equipment, from VoIP phones and projectors to full network infrastructure builds. Ensuring the physical and cyber security of our technology infrastructure is a top priority, and I recently spearheaded the implementation of an updated security plan, including the deployment of security cameras and door access controls across our campuses, which is still on going. Responsible for managing the IT budget, ticketing systems, and helpdesk operations, I have developed a thorough grasp of the multifaceted nature of this role. This breadth of experience, gained through managing technology for a diverse, multi-campus school system, has thoroughly prepared me to take on the responsibilities of an IT Director position in a dynamic and growing organization.
